Use bees wax to fill and seal seams and holes in the slate before clothing. Simply melt the wax in the seams between pieces and in holes and shave down once it hardens. 1- Ounce block. Most pool tables require just 1 ounce of wax. Those that need many slate hole screws filled will need more.
